Until yesterday evening, “Quan Yifeng” were the hottest search words on google.sg. Another hot search word was asiandollies. Why? Because the police just busted an online prostitution ring which employed webmasters and used call centres to arrange for services for their clients. Some idiot working the mainstream media blurred out the url of the website, but “credited” the pictures to asiandollies.com. Go check it out yourself (before they are blocked), but don’t bother to call. The operators are probably still in police custody.
As for Quan Yifeng’s case, I have no comment except this – well done, Subhas Anandan. I admit that I used to see him as a scruffy guy always seeking attention by taking up high profile cases, but he’s actually someone who agrees with me that our society is unforgiving and handles unprofitable cases which other lawyers may not touch with a ten-foot pole. Salute.
Toothfully, I find Quan Yifeng a waste of time. Whether she goes to jail or not is none of my business. It’s much more worthwhile to listen to the man who got her off the hook. Moral issues aside, the man has done a great job. Another trophy for Subhas Anandan. I chanced upon the above video while reading all the Quan Yifeng stuff online and I feel that I’ve missed something good. I just have to share it with you. It’s pretty long but it should be worth your time. He even has a sexy granny who is a “great admirer”. A criminal …. lawyer indeed. A 流氓律师 who is in touch with the ground and understands that no one is perfect (even though the hypocrites try to appear so). This maverick is a bit like me!
Next, I have 2 burning questions.
1. A 3-man Committee of Inquiry appointed to investigate why trains broke down. All 3 are men. All 3 are Chinese. But the question I really want to ask is, why not a single person who takes the MRT on a regular basis?
2. A burning question. I took this video from the platform of Punggol LRT yesterday night at about 9.45pm. Looks like 2 chimneys burning. I was sure someone had already called 995, so I didn’t bother. I listened to the news. No mention. I searched the news and got nothing but Quan Yifeng. Can anyone tell me where this fire broke out?
